The Impact of Covid-19 on Influenza Incidence at a Community Hospital in Indian River County, 2021-2022
My Paper has just been Submitted for Publication. It's focused on the interactions between Influenza and Covid-19. This involves analysis of the trends in Covid and Flu cases before and after the pandemic. In order to better understand these trends, I'm researching the interactions between these two viruses, and the effects of human activity during the pandemic on Influenza.
Quorum Sensing Behavior in the Model Unicellular Eukaryote Chlamydomonas reinhardtii
I'm part of a team that has found the first instance of Quorum Sensing in Eukaryotes, specifically the algae Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. I've also expanded my research to understand the effects of artificially-inducing quorum sensing on biofuel production.
