Debate

Whether it's at the Harvard National Tournament, a local high school, or a zoom call, I'm ready to debate.

I've been debating since 5th grade and I've made it to Octofinals and Quarterfinals at national tournaments like Harvard and Yale. My event of choice is Public Forum. It's based on Public Policy and Economics. We debate current topics, from the Ukraine War to Medicare for All.

Debate has expanded my critical thinking skills in a way few other activities can do. I'm able to quickly dissect topics, from fast-paced speeches to tediously-long UN Intervention Reports. This also means that I'm constantly informed about today's policy objectives and setbacks.

Debate has been critical in shaping how I view information, and my experiences competing against top debaters across the world has allowed me to become extremely well-versed with US and International Policy.
