I'm the first multi-faith Chaplain in the District. I've used my unique perspective as a Muslim in rural Florida to lead prayers for hundreds of Scouts from across the US.

I've been camping with the same group of friends since 5th grade. As we've waded in the swamps of Florida and climbed the mountains of Georgia, we've worked to form the leadership of our troop so that we are able to thrive anywhere we go. 

I've directed the creation of gardens for an underserved community center. I've used the service-focused nature of the Boy Scouts to expand STEM resources for underserved communities.
